Pros and cons of Super Glyph Quest app for iPhone and iPad

Super Glyph Quest app good for

Absolutely amazing game. The combination of rpg and puzzle elements works really well and feels really fresh due to the games unique mechanics. There are a lot of quests, items, creatures, and spells to obtain. The developer also seems eager to fix bugs quickly and release free Content updates which is amazing. One of the hidden gems of the App Store.
So far, not bad, but animations are slow...you spend more time waiting for the effects to finish than matching. There are definitely times when enemies can stun lock you to death, theres a need to balance that too. Wish materials could be more easily located in terms of area, rather than just hope youll eventually get the right enemies to craft new things.
In addition to new quests and monsters, the last update seems to have made the games difficulty more balanced. In-combat descriptions of items will help newcomers. I cant put it down now!
Its awesome, cute, and fun, and has so much more than the first one.
Love the style and look of this game, not to mention the great gameplay.

Some bad moments

I liked the first one, but I really wish this was better a balanced, it feels all chance and im being overloaded with status effects right away... Why arent levels marked how hArd they will be, constantly feel like Im going in blind. How many enemies will there be, or are left? No idea! Oh Ive used all my items and I died... Great! Now I cant beat any level...? A lot of the new features feel tacked on to the core of the original game which hAd a lot of character, which seems lost somehow in this version.
Horribly balanced and unnecessary boring story. Menus are long and complicated for nothing. You tap a dozen times to get something done. You never know how many waves you are going to encounter. It would help to have your monster encyclopedia when youre in battle. You expect me to memorize all the enemies weaknesses? Anyway the first one is much better than this one. Even though they share some of these flaws. I am really disappointed...
Ive played the original Glyph Quest when it was released and though it was a nice cute game and was excited when I heard there was a sequel in the making. I honestly love the sequel , not only does it improve on both a visual and mechanics of an rpg such as choosing abilities whenever you level but also adding in a quest mode which is great addition. Overall this game is fun to play very well worth the 3 bucks.
And I loved the original. The artwork is great and the gameplay is engaging. Worth the $3 and more!
This game is VERY,VERY,VERY unfair to play I dont like being bullied on this game FIX THE CHEAPNESS in this game or not.
This game builds on the first Glyph Quest and is even more fun to play. Support the developer and buy it!
